Kazakh President proposes to establish post of OSCE High Commissioner for Interethnic and Interfaith Tolerance

ASTANA. June 29. KAZINFORM It is necessary to consider the issue regarding establishment of a post of High Commissioner for Interethnic and Interfaith Tolerance in the OSCE. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has proposed it at the opening of the OSCE High-Level Conference on Tolerance and Non-Discrimination.
"I am confident that this institution's activity will promote dialogue mending between different ethnic and religious communities in the OSCE states, conflicts prevention, tensions settlement. This will work on enhancing authority and effectiveness of the whole Organization", the Kazakh President noted.
