Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is an example of bright creator for the entire Turkic world - Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ismail Safi

Deputies of the Senate and the Majilis of Kazakhstan as well as prominent parliamentarians, academics and experts from Germany, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Turkey, the heads of government agencies, representatives of the diplomatic corps have gathered to discuss the role of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the formation and development of the country.

As noted at the Conference all the achievements of the state, its high international standing, stable and sustainable development are connected with the name of the First President and his Strategy of sustainable development. Basic constitutional political institutions were established in Kazakhstan owing to Nursultan Nazarbayev. Today the ideas and goals of Nursultan Nazarbayev have become national values for ​​all Kazakhs, they are firmly entrenched in the public consciousness being the basis of Kazakhstan's lifestyle.

That is why the Day of the First President symbolizes the unity of all Kazakhs, consolidation of the whole society around the Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev", said the Chairman of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin.

Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ismail Safi noted that Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is an example of a creator for the entire Turkic world. "President Nazarbayev is not only the leader of Kazakhstan, he is a recognized leader in all Turkic states. In my opinion, one of the main factors of Kazakhstan's success is its first President Nursultan Nazarbayev. He is a symbol of the modern era in the current history of your country. Your President is a shining example of a creator of the Turkic world", said the Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ismail Safi.

New Constitution of 1995 was named by the forum participants as the momentous event in the development of Kazakhstan's model of parliamentarism. It was also noted that Kazakhstan has become the first post-Soviet unitary state made ​​its choice in favor of bipartite parliamentary system.

"We are seeing great interest in the changes that are taking place in the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated by your leader Nursultan Nazarbayev. I am tempted to say that somewhere your country is ahead of ours owing to the initiatives in the economy and in politics", shared his opinion the Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Oleg Savchenko.

Constitutional reform of 2007 which initiator and main developer was the President Nursultan Nazarbayev changed the system of elections to the Majilis which is now carried out under the proportional system.

"It is very important that your President pays so much attention to enhancing the role of the Parliament. I am sure that Nursultan Nazarbayev was behind the formation of the Kazakh parliamentary system. The multiparty parliament is the reflection of the democratic changes in the country being made by the President of Kazakhstan", said the Deputy of the National Assembly of Hungary, Janos Horvath.

For more than 20 years of activity the Parliament adopted 2132 laws including 3 constitutional laws, 17 codes and 872 laws on ratification and denunciation of international treaties. In their speeches, the Kazakh parliamentarians noted the work of the legislative body is focused primarily on legislative support of "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy successful implementation. There have been already adopted laws on the development of local government, the division of powers between the organs of government, public services, on the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and amendments to the Tax and Budget Codes. Currently there are being worked out the drafts of the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure and the Executive Penal Codes, the Code of Administrative Offences and important bills such as related to trade unions, strengthening the protection of property rights, further simplification of the administration of justice and improvement of the execution of judgment system.

Shtrents Karin, the member of the German Bundestag, also expressed her opinion: "We like dynamics and changes that are taking place in Kazakhstan which are undoubtedly associated with the President Nursultan Nazarbayev".

The participants expressed confidence that further development of Kazakhstan will strengthen parliamentary state, consolidate democracy and create the conditions for further enhancement of society.
