Kazakh President: Multi-field children's hospital staff trained abroad
ASTANA. June 29. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev visited a multi-field children's city hospital, which is under construction in Astana.
This is a modern multi-field complex worth KZT 16.5 billion. Commissioning is schedule for autumn. The hospital will allow servicing up to 15 thousand children.
Hospital's doctors were trained in South Korea, Israel, Europe and Russia. "Now is your turn," the Kazakh President said speaking with the staff of the children's hospital.
The children's city hospital will be fitted with the advanced equipment and transport facilities that will allow to provide high level medical care to children from birth to teen," said head physician of the Astana city hospital #2 K. Kulmukhanov.
The complex will consist of 8 blocks with total area of 56 thousand square meters. Treatment time and hospital stay of patients will be reduced by 40% due to the improvement of innovative methods of treatment. It is expected to reduce childhood mortality and disability.
