Kazakh President met with Nobel laureates in Economics
ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM Today Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the Nobel Prize laureates in Economic within the 5th Astana Economic Forum, the Kazakh President's press service informed.
According to Nazarbayev, it is a great honor for Kazakhstan to welcome the greatest minds of humanity.
"Astana Economic Forum has become the global event. Today the science should be the loco able to solve urgent problems facing the world. Observing the forum the whole world will expect new ideas and new proposals," Nazarbayev said.
Also, the Kazakh President noted the world continues to feel the pressure of the crisis. Many countries adopted the reaction measures, which are providing significant funds to financial sector and reducing budget expenses.
In turn, the Nobel laureates gave their scientific assessment to the international economic processes.
