Kazakh President met with NATO Secretary General

The NATO Secretary General said at the briefing that the issues of further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the NATO, specially the issues concerning Afghanistan were discussed at the meeting ith the President.

"We discussed such issues as non-proliferation of the weapons of mass destruction, the financial crisis. I congratulated the President and Kazakhstan on the coming OSCE chairmanship", J. de Hoop Scheffer said.
