Kazakh President met with EIB head in Brussels

BRUSSELS. April 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with President of the European Investment Bank Philippe Maystadt in the capital of Belgium today.
During the talks N. Nazarbayev noted that he stopped in Brussels on his way to the summit in Washington. "The key talks on cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EIB will take place this autumn", he explained.
P. Maystadt said the signing of the framework agreement between Kazakhstan and the European Investment Bank was a prerequisite for the Bank to start activity in Kazakhstan.
As reported earlier, the agreement is planned to be signed today after the negotiations.
