Kazakh President meets with General Director of Glencore International AG

ANA. June 24. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with President of "Glencore International AG" Ivan Glazenberg today.
At a briefing after the meeting Mr. Glazenberg said that he informed the President of the progress of implementation of the investment projects of "KazZink" JSC, development of production capacities and new projects.
According to him, the status of the world economy, particularly in the sector of natural resources was discussed. "We still consider Kazakhstan as a key country offering soft terms for production of copper, zink, lead and other resources", I. Glazenberg said.
Participation of the company in some other projects was also discussed at the meeting.
