Kazakh President launched construction of gold refinery in Astana

ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM At today's national teleconference bridge President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has launched construction of a new gold refinery in Astana city.
Its projected capacity is 25 tons of gold, 50 tons of silver per annum. The date of commissioning is the fourth quarter of 2013.
"Kazakhstan is a country rich in gold fields. It is crucial that the new equipment which will be installed there will let produce the 9999 highest quality gold," the President said.
