Kazakh President laid flowers at the Eternal Flame

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the monument to the defenders of the Fatherland to the memory of the fallen in the fields of the Great Patriotic War.
The very same day 69 years ago the most devastating and bloody war in human history, nearly all the world was plunged into, was over. Over 1 mln 800 thousand Kazakhstanis defended the homeland to bring peaceful life to the generations to come. Today in Astana live 258 veterans, 194 of them are participants of the Great Patriotic War, 64 - disabled veterans.
