Kazakh President invites Korean scientific community to coop with New University of Astana

SEUL. April 23. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbai/ Speaking to the faculty of the Korean University President Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Korean scientific community to cooperate with the New University of Astana.

"I would like to attract attention of the Korean scientific community to the opportunity of cooperation with the New University of Astana. The University will be opened this year and is designed to become a pioneer in the development of the Kazakh science and education. Advanced laboratories and scientific-research center with modern equipment will function there. Specialists from many world countries were invited to work at the University. I hope that professors from Korea, including professors of your University would lecture there as well", the President said.

According to N.Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan and Korea lay foundation for successful post0-crisis development.

"Kazakhstan prepares to breakthrough into the future based on technological modernization of our economy and society. I believe that any breakthrough both in politics and business needs fresh personnel as well as major investments to human development. In this regard, mutual training and specialists exchange are of special importance today. It is necessary to provide interpenetration of educational systems, research and innovative activities conducted in our countries. This all provides development of the Kazakh-Korean cooperation", N.Nazarbayev said.
