ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM Kazakh parliamentarians headed by Majilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin continue their participation in the session of the Interparliamentary Assembly Council of the CIS member states in St. Petersburg.
The 37th plenary meeting of the CIS IPA was held on May 17, the press service of the Kazakh Majilis reported.
In addition, improving of the CIS IPA interaction with the CIS Council of the Heads of State was in the limelight.
Participants paid great attention to the integration processes and especially stressed the Kazakh President N. Nazarbayev's important role in this respect.
"Belarus fully supports the Kazakh President's integration ideas," Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreychenko stated.
The participants made a decision to set up a working group to address the work of parliamentarians within the Eurasian integration, especially the Eurasian economic integration.
