Kazakh President criticizes work of Air Astana

ASTANA. June 3. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his indignation to Air Astana Company over flight delays.
The President criticized the work of Air Astana. "In 2009 every eighth flight, in 2010 every sixth was delayed, totally fifteen hundred flights. This causes outrage," Nazarbayev said during the meeting on the issues regarding the development of the capital of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Transport and Communications said the reason of so frequent flight delays was the lack of boards. "We are working on the problem," he added.
