Kazakh President calls on youth to take part in first-ever Qurultay elections

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has called on citizens, especially young people, to actively take part in Kazakhstan’s first-ever Qurultay elections, Qazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.

The Head of State said the country’s future depends on the conscious choice of millions of citizens.

He described participation in elections as the highest act of people's will, a demonstration of responsibility and solidarity.

The President urged all citizens, especially the youth, to take part in the elections and contribute to Kazakhstan’s successful development.

In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished citizens health and prosperity, affirming that their votes will strengthen the nation.

As written before, President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has addressed the nation ahead of the elections to the Qurultay.

To note, voting in Kazakhstan’s Qurultay elections will officially begin at 7:00 am on August 23, but 107 polling stations are scheduled to open one hour earlier, at 6:00 am.
