Kazakh President awarded workers of culture
ALMATY. February 3. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Turysbekova/ We, the people of Kazakhstan, are responsible for the future of our country and our children. To achieve the set goals we need first of all the stability and peace in the society. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said it during the ceremony of awarding the State Scholarship to the workers of literature and art on February 3 in Almaty.
The Head of the State explained the essence of realization of the country's industrial and innovation program that should advance the state to a new stage of economic development. "The new quality of literature and culture as a whole should provide it partway", the President stressed. He also noted that the state would always support the representatives of the creative intelligentsia.
The first decision on awarding the Presidential Scholarship was made by the Head of the State on December 12, 1994. 50 workers of culture are awarded annually.
