Kazakh President attends Asian Table Tennis Championships finals
The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, attended the men's, and women's singles and doubles, finals of the 27th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024 held in the Kazakh capital, on October 13, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.
The Asian Table Tennis Championships brought together 210 sportsmen from 26 countries, including winners of the Olympic Games and world championships.
As earlier reported, the Kazakhstan men’s team hit a historic high at the Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024 as it won seventh place by beating Iran 3:1. Notably, for the third time in a row the Kazakh team finished the Asian Championships among the top 8.
