Kazakh President announces establishment of new ministry of oil and gas

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM. /Damir Baimanov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced about the establishment of new Ministry of Oil and Gas at today's session of the issues of forced industrialization of Kazakhstan.
Sauat Mynbayev has been appointed Minister of Oil and Gas.
"The Ministry will allow to relieve KazMunaiGaz JSC of inappropriate functions that create a conflict of commercial and state interests. The activities of KazMunaiGaz should be purely commercial", the Head of the State noted.
