Kazakh police said a national of Syria in custody for illegal hunting

AKTOBE. September 8. KAZINFORM /Samal Yendibayeva/ A 48-year-old native of Syria, who is temporarily resident in Almaty, and a 21-year-old native of Almaty region, were detained in Ashibulak, Aktobe region, on suspicion of poaching.
According to the department of internal affairs of the Aktobe region, on September 4, 2011 the staff members of the "Kazakh wildlife conservancy" detained two men with 190 cages for birds, one dead Balaban hawk, and 12 wood pigeons. Damage by poachers to the state makes KZT 1 mln 150 thousand.
The initiation of a criminal case is under consideration yet.
