Kazakh PM visits specialized public service center in Astana

ASTANA. December 4. KAZINFORM Today, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov has paid a fam visit to a specialized public service center in the Kazakh capital that registers vehicles and issues driving licenses.

The center where all Astana residents take driving tests, receive driving licenses, register and re-register their vehicles was launched in September in pilot mode under the instruction of the Head of State.

"Premier Akhmetov gave an instruction to set up analogous public service centers in all regional centers of the country by late 2015," Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Saken Sarsenov explained the goal of Akhmetov's Wednesday visit to the center.

It is worth mentioning, currently such specialized centers effectively function in the cities of Almaty, Karaganda and Aktau.

"The analogous center is believed to open its doors in Taraz by yearend, with four more to be unveiled in Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Taldykorgan and Kyzylorda in 2014," Mr. Sarsenov added.
