Kazakh PM urges Culture Ministry to develop specific proposals on digital television introduction in 2010

ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov has urged the Ministry of Culture and Information jointly with other appropriate authorities to elaborate specific proposals on the issue of digital television introduction in 2010.
"The Ministry of other appropriate authorities should continue work on digital television introduction. It is necessary to elaborate specific proposals this year", he said at the enlarged session of the Ministry's Board on Monday, January 25.
Karim Massimov emphasized that "the issue is important for us, for our economy's competitiveness".
