Kazakh PM to take part in CIS summit in Chisinau
SINAU. October 9. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Summit of Heads of the CIS member states will be opened in Chisinau today. Kazakhstan will be represented by Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
The Council of Heads of the CIS member states will discuss draft documents for stimulation of cooperation of the Commonwealth countries in joint tackling of the world financial crisis, deepening of international processes in the humanitarian sphere, ensuring of security and others.
One of the most important issues to be considered is the draft decree "On the joint measures in overcoming the world financial crisis". It is also planned that the Council members will approve the Address of the CIS Heads to the Commonwealth nations and the world community on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and will pass a resolution on announcement of 2010 the Year of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the CIS.
