Kazakh PM invites IEA to partake in preparations for EXPO-2017

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM Today, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov has received Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Maria van der Hoeven.
Further cooperation between Kazakhstan and the IEA in energy sector, implementation of the projects aimed at raising energy efficiency and introduction of green technologies were touched upon during the meeting in Astana.
Serik Akhmetov and Ms van der Hoeven shared their thoughts on current situation in the global energy market.
Prime Minister Akhmetov also invited the agency to partake in the preparations for the EXPO-2017 event themed "Energy of the Future".
