Kazakh PM familiarizes with Auyl amanaty project’s realization in Kostanay rgn
Prime minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov got familiarized with the realization of the project aimed at increasing the income of the rural population Auyl amanaty in Kostanay region and visited the newly opened plant processing leguminous crops, Kazinform News Agency cites primeminister.kz.
The head of the Kazakh government visited the farm established by Kymbat Kokiyeva, Auyl amanaty project’s participant, in the village of Zerechnoye, Kostanay region. Kymbat received 5.2 million tenge via the project.
Launched by the initiative of the Head of State, the project Auyl amanaty aims at increasing the standards of life and incomes of rural residents. Within the project, microloans at 2.5% a year for 5-7 years are provided.
The Kazakh Prime minister recalled the project launched first in Zhambyl region, has proved itself as an effective tool, therefore the decision was taken in 2023 to scale it to other regions of the country.
Last year, the government funneled 100 billion tenge in the project, allowing to provide 12 thousand microloans. This year, the project will be continued with 17 thousand microloans to be provided, said Smailov.
The Kazakh Premier also visited the newly opened plant processing leguminous crops Kaidzen with a capacity of 170 thousand tons of finished products per year. The full production cycle from raw materials production to packing was established at the plant. The project received investments worth 4 billion tenge and created 70 workplaces.
Kazakh Prime minister Smailov stressed that the government has the task of doubling the agricultural output.
