Kazakh parliamentary delegation attends OSCE PA Fall Meetings
ANA. October 8. KAZINFORM. Kazakh parliamentary delegation headed by Senate Speaker, Vice President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part in the OSCE PA Fall Meetings in Athens on October 8-12; the Senate's press service told Kazinform.
The event will include "Energy Security and Environment" parliamentary conference consisting of three sessions titled "Regional Cooperation and Energy Security", "Climate and Environmental Policy - the Road to Copenhagen", "Optimal Utilization of Natural Resources for Human Security".
Besides, it is planned to discuss the prospects and challenges for the OSCE Mediterranean dimension, development of trade and economic cooperation.
K. Tokayev is expected to make a speech at the session on optimal utilization of natural resources, meet with President of Greece Karolos Papoulias and the Greek Parliament Speaker.
