Kazakh Paralympians may enter top 6 in Asian Games 2011
ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM / Gulnara Zhandagulova / -The Paralympic team of Kazakhstan may join the six best teams of the continent in the Asian Games 2011 in Seoul.
Head coach of the wheelchair sport Maxim Rozhkov expressed his opinion during the press conference on Thursday in Astana.
"In 2011 Asian Games will hold in Seoul. According to our forecasts, our team can win gold and silver medals. Also, under their force to enter into six best teams of the continent ", - M. Rozhkov said.
Besides, the XXII Summer Games that will take place in the homeland of the Olympic Games in Athens are not far off. As head coach added, "we will try to make it better. Now we have offices in freestyle wrestling in Shymkent and Almaty. We also want to develop such kinds of sports as judo, karate, Tae Kwon Do that is included in the Olympic Games of the Deaf.
In the Summer Olympics Games of deaf people in the Taipei city Taiwan, delegation of Kazakhstani athletes won 1 bronze and eventually divided 47-55 place among the 90 countries.
