Kazakh Ombudsman attended Central Asia human rights commissioners' conference

ASTANA. March 7. KAZINFORM At the invitation of Finland Minister for International Development, Kazakh Human Rights Commissioner Askar Shakirov attended the Central Asia Ombudsmen Conference in Helsinki on March 4-7, the Kazakh Ombudsman's press service reported.
In his report A.Shakirov comprehensively outlined the principles of the activities of the Kazakhstan Ombudsman's Office, the procedure for processing applications, work on improvement of legislation, the practice of interaction with government agencies and nongovernmental organizations, international cooperation, as well as the main activities of the state in ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens.
