Kazakh Oil & Gas Ministry to expand Tengiz oil field

TANA. October 4. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Ministry of Oil and Gas is studying the issue of expanding Tengiz oil field, Minister Sauat Mynbayev made public at KAZENERGY-2011 Forum on Tuesday in Astana.
"The project provides for increasing oil production from the current 26 million to 36 million tons. I suppose the project will be submitted for consideration of the authorized body in the nearest future," he noted.
