Kazakh official paid tribute to Great Patriotic War victims by minute of silence

ANA. May 9. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov, Head of the Presidential Administration Aslan Musin, Chairmen of the Senate and Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ural Mukhamedzhanov, Secretary of State - Foreign minister Kanat Saudabayev, Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov paid tribute to victim of the Great Patriotic War by a minute of silence before the monument of Fatherland Defenders in Astana today.
Thousand of Astana residents and guests of the city gather near the monument as well.
Later the Prime Minister visited the tent camp set up near the monument.
