Kazakh national and her four children evacuated from Damascus
ABU DHABI. December 8. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Embassy in Jordan and Kazakhstan diplomatic mission in Syria, temporarily located in Beirut (Lebanon) and Amman (Jordan), continue helping Kazakhstan citizens to leave the war-torn Syria.
According to the Kazakh diplomats, a Kazakh national Tatiana Donova with four children was evacuated from Damascus this week. According to her, the situation in Syria is deteriorating and civilians keep fleeing from the combat zone.
Kazakhstan has adopted a special government program to provide comprehensive assistance to RK citizens in Syria willing to return home: our compatriots, most of whom are women married to Syrians and their children, are purchased tickets and given consular assistance in obtaining necessary documents.
The large-scale conflict in Syria between the armed opposition and government forces has been continuing since March 2011. As the UN reports, more than 100 thousand people have fallen victims to it over this time period.
