Kazakh MPs visit South Korean Research Institute

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh deputies have visited the Research Institute of South Korea, the press service of the Majilis reports.

"Kazakh delegates have visited the South Korean capital province of Gyeonggi, a number of research institutes, greenhouses and farms. MPs also met with the management of one of the leading universities in Korea called "KonkukUniversity", the report reads. In Seoul, the Kazakh delegation held advanced business seminar with the participation of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and business circles of South Korea. MPs explained the main provisions of the President's "Kazakhstan -2050" Strategy and the new opportunities for foreign investors. In the framework of the visit the chairman of the Majilis Committee on agrarian issues Romin Madinov held a round table with the chairman of the committee on food, agriculture, fisheries and oceans of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Choi Kyung Sung. The two sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. The Kazakh delegation included Majilis members Roman Madinov, Svetlana Kadraliyeva, Roman Kim, Alikhan Toybayev as well as representatives of business and academia.
