Kazakh MPs go on holiday until September 1
ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM The Parliament of Kazakhstan will go on holiday until 1 September.
It has been decided today at the joint session of the two chambers that wrapped up the 2nd session of the Kazakh Parliament of the 5th convocation.
Majilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin reported on the work done by the Kazakh MPs. In his words, the work of the 2nd session was quite fruitful as the chambers approved 96 laws.
Mr. Nigmatulin also briefed on the plans for the future session, having stressed, the parliamentarians are to review a great number of documents related to the development of economy, social obligations of the state and participation in the integration processes.
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Constitutional Council, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission and heads of central public bodies were in attendance.
