Kazakh MPs agreed unanimously to President's objections as regards pension modernization
ASTANA. June 12. KAZINFORM Members of the Kazakh Majilis have agreed unanimously to the Kazakh President's objections concerning the draft law "On pension provision in Kazakhstan."
So, as reported earlier, a plenary meeting headed by Chairman of the Kazakh Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin has been held today to consider the objections of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev as regards item 1 article 11 of the draft law "On pension provision in Kazakhstan."
Following the plenary meeting members of the parliament agreed to consider the President's objections irresisted.
Thus, the draft law was passed in the version proposed by the Head of State, and retirement age for women will be gradually increased from January 1, 2018.
According to member of Parliament Gulzhan Karagusova, the draft law in the new version has sent to the President for signature.
