Kazakh Ministry of Education wastes an opportunity to build 20 schools: Majilis

ASTANA. November 7. KAZINFORM 20 secondary schools could have been built on the funds unassimilated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan this year, Majiliswoman Gulmira Issimbayeva announced during the presentation of amendments to the Law "On republican budget for 2013-2015" at the Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament.
"20 schools for 1000 students each could have been constructed in various regions of the country based on these funds. 40 thousand schoolchildren would be given a chance to study in more comfortable conditions," she said.
Ms Issimbayeva also recommended all administrators of the budgetary programs to pay more attention to the content and quality of services procured.
