Kazakh ministries to report to people on regular basis

Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan, charged to introduce such practice at the extended session of the Government on Tuesday. "Ministries and state bodies will report to the population. For example, akims (governors) of districts and regions hold press conferences on a regular basis. The Government and ministries of Kazakhstan should follow their example," the Head of State noted. At the same time, President Nazarbayev stressed that ministries are free to choose the format of report meetings. "There many ways to do it, for instance, via television, radio, etc.," Nursultan Nazarbayev added.
