Kazakh Minister, US Chargé d'Affaires met in Astana

ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM At the initiative of the American side, Kazakh Minister of Internal Affairs Serik Baimaganbetov has held a meeting with Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan John Ordway on February 22, the Ministry's press service reports.
The US diplomat was informed of the activity of the bodies of internal affairs, reformation of the law-enforcement system of Kazakhstan, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The parties exchanged opinions on the status and prospects of the Kazakh-American cooperation in the sphere of crime prevention and public order protection.
Special attention was paid to the issue on fight against drug trafficking.
