Kazakh Minister hopes for increase in oil reserves due to unestimated resources

TANA. October 4. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev believes that the volume of unextracted oil in Kazakhstan could be even more than the measured reserves.
According to the substantiated data, Kazakhstan ranks ninths in the world in proven oil reserves. It is what the independent resources say. I think we may reckon on increase in oil reserves in the future taking into account our geological reserves estimates and the underway large-scale geological surveys, Mynbayev added.
