Kazakh Leader takes part in London 2012 opening ceremony

LONDON. July 28. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the opening ceremony of the XXX Summer Olympic Games in London.
116 athletes from Kazakhstan are expected to compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in 25 sports at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Kazakhstan was represented in 23 sports during the last Olympiad in Beijing. Kazakhstani sportsmen managed to get licenses in such sports as fencing, water polo and women's boxing.
The 2012 Summer Olympic Games is set to take place in London from July 27 until August 12, 2012. Over 10 000 athletes are to compete for almost 1 000 medals in next three weeks.
