Kazakh Leader offers again to set up UN Peacekeeping Fund

W YORK. September 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President of Kazakhstan has again proposed to set up a United Nations Peacekeeping Fund.
"The new world order "maturing" is accompanied by the growth of conflicts. Today the world's total military spending grows twice as fast as during the Cold War - by 6 per cent a year. It has already made 1.5 trillion U.S. dollars.
"In this connection my initiative to establish a United Nations Peacekeeping Fund, which I voiced for the first time nineteen years ago, has become even more pressing," the President added.
