Kazakh leader congratulates Nawaz Sharif elected as Prime-Minister of Pakistan
ASTANA. June 8. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram of congratulations to Nawaz Sharif on his election as a Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, reports the press service of Akorda.
In his congratulatory message the President said that the active participation of citizens in the country's parliamentary elections, and an expression of support led N.Sharif's party named "Pakistani Muslim League" were a clear indication of confidence of the people in the policy pursued by him.
"The implementation of the proposed by your government large-scale political and economic programs will be the beginning of a new stage in the progress of the country", the telegram reads.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also expressed his confidence that the relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, based on friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, would continue in the future to the benefit of both countries.
At the end of the message Nazarbayev wished N.Sharif good health, success in work, as well as peace and happiness to the friendly people of Pakistan.
