Kazakh Language Education Center opens in the U.S.
SHINGTON. September 28. KAZINFORM In an effort to help provide Kazakh language training for corporate executives, officials and students interested in working in Kazakhstan, a new training center - Kazakh Language Education Center (KLEC) - has been established in Alexandria, Virginia. Classes are scheduled to begin on October 1, 2011.
The head of the Center, Magzhan Ainashbekova, has worked tirelessly to open KLEC and recruit only experienced native speaking language teachers using proven educational methods to teach the second language to her students, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in the US said.
A well-known member of the Kazakh community in the D.C. area with a passion for helping children, Ms. Ainashbekova also provides translation services for visiting Kazakhs as well as those here wishing to work with Kazakh-based entities.
Starting October 1st, classes will be held on alternate Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Alexandria Library located at 5005 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22304. The course fee is $15 per hour.
