Kazakh investigators study sky spy photos in mass death probe

MOSCOW. August 24. KAZINFORM Investigators from Kazakhstan are using satellite imagery to solve the murder of 11 people in a national park, Interior Minister Kalmukhanbet Kasymov said on Thursday.

In particular, they were able to spot a moving car near the scene of the crime, which could provide a useful lead, the minister said.

There are three theories investigators are working on, including a conflict between poachers and rangers and the involvement of "outsiders," other than hunters.

The minister did not elaborate, RIA Novosti reports.

A total of 11 bodies were found in the Ile Alatau National Park in southeastern Kazakhstan on August 13.

Six bodies with stab wounds were found near the premises used by local forest rangers. The other five bodies were found later 25 kilometers from the scene.
