Kazakh-Indian business forum to be held in Astana
ASTANA. May 12. KAZINFORM Indian Minister for External Affairs Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna will take part in the joint with Kazakhstan business forum.
Besides, representatives of the largest Indian companies in the sphere of engineering, pharmacy, construction industry and energy, representatives of the state bodies, associations, national companies and business circles will come to Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan will introduce investment opportunities of the country to the Indian side within the framework of the Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development. It is planned to discuss the issues of trade-economic cooperation with India, opportunities of creation of joint productions, business contacts establishment.
According to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and India made up USD 253.3 mln in 2009.
207 joint enterprises with participation of the Indian capital are functioning in Kazakhstan.
