Kazakh Human Rights Commissioner presents report to President

ASTANA. March 26. KAZINFORM. Kazakhstan Human Rights Commissioner Askar Shakirov has presented to Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev the report on the activity of his office in 2009; Kazinform refers to the press service of the Ombudsman's Office.
The report contains the analysis of implementation of the Ombudsman's recommendations given to the state bodies in the sphere of rights protection, results of the monitoring of media, data on the situation in the field of protection of rights of children, women, the disabled, repatriates, refugees, labor migrants and etc.
The report was approved by the President, who instructed the state bodies to study the document and take measures to address human rights violations reflected in it.
