Kazakh Government was proposed to increase POL export tax duty
ASTANA. August 6. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The antimonopoly administration proposed the Kazakh Government to increase customs duty for petrol, diesel fuel and oil export.
Head of the Administration for informational support of the Fair Competition Agency Zhandos Nurmakhambetov said it Thursday.
"The existing rates of the customs payments for oil products export (USD 59.87 per a ton) do not provide interest of the export-companies to buy POL at the internal market. For example, the export customs duty for the light oil products in Russia was increased by USD 161.9 per a ton from USD 155.5 one as of August, 1", - Zh. Nurmakhambetov said.
"The Agency forwarded proposal to consider the issue on increasing the export customs duty for above mentioned oil products", - he added.
