Kazakh Government to render assistance to people of Kyrgyzstan: Kazakh PM
ASTANA. April 9. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "The Kazakh Government will render assistance to people of Kyrgyzstan", Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said today answering questions of Georgian journalists in the Government.
Besides, the Premier noted that our country decided to close the border with Kyrgyzstan due to events in the country.
The Prime Minister noted that there is different information in the press on involvement of foreign forces in these events. "We don't posses such information", K.Massimov said.
The Prime minister also noted that the situation in Kyrgyzstan must be settled peacefully as soon as possible.
K.Massimov informed that Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairman sent its official representative - Deputy Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Zhanybek Karibzhanov to Kyrgyzstan to assess the situation at the place.
