Kazakh Government to prolong major ‘green' program

Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Aslan Sarinzhipov announced the plans of the Cabinet to keep the doors open for the Zhassyl Yel program. "Members of the Government have just made a decision to extend the program. Necessary funds for its implementation will be earmarked in the new budget. The program is set to be realized in conjunction with the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources. Regions of the country are also expected to step up efforts in terms of the program," the minister added. In his words, in 2014 the program budgeting has more than doubled and totaled 404 million tenge. So far, nearly 200 thousand young people of Kazakhstan have participated in the Zhassyl Yel program.
