Kazakh Government to define list of companies of people's IPO in March
ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The Government of Kazakhstan will define the list of companies of the people's IPO in March. The shares of them will be put on the domestic stock market. Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bolat Zhamishev said it at the sitting of the Government today.
"I believe that in March we will be able to define the list of companies the shares of which can be put on the market as soon as possible," B. Zhamishev said.
In turn, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov charged the Finance Minister to work on the issue of increasing financial literacy of population within the realization of the program of the people's IPO. "We can develop a truly good program but if people do not understand what it is about, the program will not be so effective we want it to be," K. Massimov concluded.
