Kazakh Government, IDB to present Country Partnership Strategy for 2012-2014
ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM The Day of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev and IDB President Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani is to be held on Tuesday (October 2) in Astana.
Official spokesperson for Kazakhstan's Government Yerzhan Ashikbayev told Monday briefing.
"The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is committed to close cooperation with the IDB in terms of improving the conditions for Islamic banking and finance in the country. The upcoming event will lay the foundation for mid- and long-term interaction. The Kazakh Government and the IDB group are expected to officially present the Country Partnership Strategy for 2012-2014 at the event," Y.Ashikbayev added.
