Kazakh Foreign Ministry condoles over Malaysia Airlines jet crash in eastern Ukraine
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kazakhstan is working to determine whether or not there had been citizens of Kazakhstan on board of the Malaysia Airlines airliner that crashed in eastern Ukraine, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh MFA.
"We express our deepest condolences to the families and the close ones of those who perished due to the crash of the #MH17 Malaysia Airlines airliner in eastern Ukraine. We believe that there should be a most thorough investigation and that all the circumstances of what happened be established. We are working to determine whether or not there had been citizens of Kazakhstan on board the plane and will share this information once we have it," the ministry's official Twitter page reads. The ministry yet again called on all sides involved in the conflict in eastern Ukraine to cease fire the soonest and to find solutions to contradictions through peaceful means. As reported earlier, Malaysia Airlines jet carrying 295 people crashed in east Ukraine on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
