Kazakh FM to meet with China's leadership and to hold talks with Chinese colleague

KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Within the first official visit to the People's Republic of China on September 7-9 Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov will hold talks with head of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi and meet with the country's leadership. Chinese Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Jiang Yu has announced it at a press conference.
According to her, the Chinese side pays great significance to this visit and hopes that it will give a new impetus to the Chinese-Kazakh relations. The Chinese diplomat noted that "during the negotiations the sides will discuss the issues regarding development of bilateral relations as well as international and regional matters."
"China and Kazakhstan are good neighbor, all-round strategic partners and SCO member states. Since establishment of the diplomatic ties of the People's Republic of China and Kazakhstan the relations between the two countries developed in stable atmosphere, and had dynamical and progressive character," Jiang Yu emphasized.
The spokeswoman added that "the relations of the two countries entered a new stage, China and Kazakhstan achieved significant results and progress in all fields of cooperation. We hope that the Kazakh side will further promote mutually beneficial cooperation of the two countries."
