Kazakh FM met with China's scientific community

The FM started his speech themed "Kazakhstan and cooperation for the sake of peace and prosperity" with the problems of the world economy. Further development of international affairs depends in many ways on solution to these problems. The present stage is characterized by the world entering the period of post-crisis development. Thanks to up-to-date communication technologies, the world has achieved such a level of mutual dependence when a conflict or instability occurring in any part of the world will immediately affect the world markets. Today we need stability based on mutual trust, transparency of intentions and the common investment standard.

Touching upon Kazakhstan's economy, Kazykhanov said as a result of timely and efficient anti-crisis measures taken the country has preserved sustainable growth rates. In 2010 and in the first quarter of 2011 we succeeded in reaching 7% of economic growth.

Then the Kazakh FM noted that the country's rating is defined today by its ability to minimize damage by business decline and prevention of fall of people's living standards. At this point China shows significant achievements as the second largest economy in the world.
